                    With the development of automotive gasoline engine towards high speed, high compression ratio, high power, low fuel consumption and low emission, the traditional ignition device is no longer suitable for the use requirements. The core components of ignition device are ignition coil and switching device. Increasing the energy of ignition coil, spark plug can produce enough energy spark, which is the basic condition for the ignition device to adapt to the operation of modern engines.                     First, in idle condition, the body shakes obviously. Observing the exhaust port, the exhaust gas flow discharged by the car has obvious intermittence. At the same time, the exhaust pipe flutters badly, and the sound of "protrusion" can be heard clearly.
                  Second, in the course of driving, when the speed is less than 2500 rpm, the body has obvious jitter and the acceleration is weak; when the speed exceeds 2500 rpm, the jitter disappears.
                    Third, open the engine cover, observe the engine in operation, and find that the engine has obvious jitter. This kind of jitter has obviously not belonged to the jitter of the normal engine working condition, and the jitter range is very large.
                    1. Short circuit of ignition coil winding will cause low voltage of ignition coil and insufficient ignition energy, which will cause the spark plug electrode to blacken too fast (often polluted by carbon deposition).
                    2. Ignition coil is broken or grounded, which does not generate high voltage electricity and cannot ignite.
                    3. Surface discharge of ignition coil refers to the phenomenon of spark on the outer surface of ignition coil. The main causes of surface discharge are surface contamination and serious damp. Surface discharge often occurs near the high-voltage lead-out screw, so the joint between the high-voltage lead-out screw and the high-voltage wire is usually equipped with a sheath. When surface discharge occurs, burn marks can often be seen at the discharge site. When the burning damage is slight, the burned material can be removed and the insulation treatment can be done well.
                    4. Aging of ignition coil insulation. The reason is that frequent ignition under high temperature or high speed and heavy load conditions after hot car makes the temperature of ignition coil rise rapidly. The aging of the insulation of the ignition coil makes it short-circuit under high temperature and high voltage, which leads to the reduction of the actual turn ratio of the primary winding and the secondary winding of the ignition coil, reduces the voltage value of the secondary winding, and causes the sudden extinction and the failure of the vehicle speed. The working temperature of the ignition coil generally does not exceed 80 C, otherwise the ignition coil will be overheated. Overheating of the ignition coil will melt the insulating material inside the ignition coil and accelerate the damage of the ignition coil.
